Gene has had an incredibly diverse and accomplished career in Marketing, spanning over 40 years. After graduating from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design and Illustration, he embarked on a professional journey that would see him excel in various positions within the marketing and technology industries.

 

At Nfina, Gene has served as the Marketing Director since 2018, utilizing his extensive knowledge to develop effective marketing strategies for the company.

In 2002 he established his own design agency, Gene Everette Visual Communications.

Throughout his career, Gene’s talents have been sought after by renowned organizations such as SCHOOLinSITES, Konica Minolta, Cenveo/PrintXcel, Xante and QMS. At SCHOOLinSITES, he assumed the role as Director of Product Management and UI/UX Design – showcasing his skills in both product development and user interface design. At Konica Minolta, he served as Apple Developer and Business Solutions Product Manager – a testament to his ability to navigate the ever-evolving world of technology-driven marketing solutions. Cenvo/PrintXcel recognized Gene’s creative abilities by appointing him as their Creative Director/Marketing Brand-Product Manager – allowing him to oversee all aspects of marketing while ensuring consistent branding across different products and brands. His time at Xante saw him excel as both the Director of Product Marketing and Art Director – seamlessly blending creative vision with strategic insights. While at QMS, he worked as a Print Solutions Consultant while also lending his talents as a graphic designer and illustrator – he was part of the team that launched the first Adobe Laser Printer and first Adobe Color Printer.

But it is not just corporations that have benefited from Gene’s incredible skill set; he volunteers to help nonprofit organizations like First Light Community of Mobile and is the Vice President and Webmaster for the Baldwin County Auburn Club.

Gene, the man with an adventurous spirit and a love for all things vintage, resides in the charming town of Fairhope, Alabama. With his beloved wife by his side, he embraces each day with enthusiasm and joy. When Gene isn't cruising down the streets in his sleek retro T-bird, feeling the wind in his hair and the freedom of the open road ahead, you can find him immersed in his other creative passions. Whether it's meticulously sketching intricate designs or adding vibrant strokes to a canvas with colorful paints, Gene's artistic talent knows no bounds. His green thumb is evident in his lush garden overflowing with blooming flowers and thriving plants that reflect his nurturing nature. And when Auburn Football season rolls around, there's no one more spirited than Gene cheering on his favorite team with unwavering loyalty and pride. But above all else, nothing brings him greater happiness than simply being surrounded by those he loves most - family always comes first for this caring soul. In every moment spent pursuing these diverse interests and hobbies, Gene finds pure bliss and fulfillment that shines through in everything he does.
